6-5-10, Last day Tuna Tourney
Slow for us today with only one tuna bite on last day of tuna tourney. Did catch a sail and saw a blue marlin that did not eat. A big thanks to Keith Powell and crew from Ohio for fishing the tourney again. They did take home some money as their 3 fish aggregate and heaviest fish placed based on a boat ahead in standings not being entered in the money. Thanks!

6-4-10, Tunas/Blue Marlin
Slower fishing for us today on first day of the tuna tourney. We caught 6 yellowfins but are off the pace on big fish and top 3 aggregate weight. Hoping for better tomorrow. We did have a nice bonus, a 150lb blue marlin. Thanks!

6-3-10, Yellowfins
Today we had Keith Powell and crew from Ohio who also will be fishing the Tuna Tournament with us the next couple days. A little choppy but a sign of life on the edge with some bonitos and birds yielding 10 yellowfins. Hope for some more tomorrow. Thanks!

5-30-10, Blue Marlin Action
Today we had the Ramey family from Petersburg Virginia. We picked out a good catch of gaffer dolphin but the highlight of the day were the 2 blue marlin were caught. The first was about 350 lbs, came to the right teaser before fading back and then jumping clear out of the water and landing on the left short rigger. It put on quite a show jumping behind the boat before coming along side for the pic shown below. The second fish also started on the right teaser but was very aggressive, grabbing the teaser twice then going to the left teaser before finally eating Chris's pitch bait 10 feet behind the transom, a classic head and shoulders going away bite. One of those sites that you will remember for ever. Thanks!

5-29-10, Gaffers/lone tuna
Less tuna action today but a good catch of gaffer dolphin and one lone tuna for Brett Walters crew from Richmond. Thanks!
