5-20, Great Yellowfin Fishing
Beautiful weather and great fishing for Manny Ortiz and gang from Raleigh. Singles, doubles, and whams with 6-8 bites at a time around pilot whales and bonitos in a lively ocean. We ended up with a limit of yellowfins weighing 630lbs. We have some days open next week and plenty after that so give us a call to get in on some great fishing. Thanks!

5-19-10, Mixed Bag
Today we had Michael Eveland and crew from Maryland on a nice calm day following high wind and rain yesterday. We started out the morning with lots of bluefin action, keeping a 50 pounder and releasing about 20 more. We had several makos get after our tunas and managed to boat a 145 pounder. We spent the afternoon looking for yellowfins and caught 4, we had a few more bites we did not hold on to. Thanks!

5-17, Lots of School Bluefins
Choppy weather for Brian Pate and crowd today. Yellowfins were scarce for most of us although a few guys did get hit by 4-6 yellowfins at once, just luck of the draw. We were on northern end and found non-stop action with school size bluefins. The one we ket was 70lbs and we released at least 20 more ranging from 15-70lbs. Sounds like gaffer dolphin fishing is heating up south of us so hoping for the gulf stream edge to get within our reach soon. Thanks!

5-16, Slower fishing today
A lot slower yellowfin fishing today but we did manage 4 nice yellowfins and one gaffer dolphin. Some guys were more fortunate and ended up with 10 or 12 tunas.

Box full of Tunas!
Today we had Bob Scott and gang from Maryland. Started out a little choppy but got prettier and the tunas cooperated for us. 14 fish weighed 576lbs and sent us home early. A good sign of tunas over a big area and gaffer dolphin showing up off Hatteras so should be making it up here soon. We still have some weekdays and one sunday left in May and lots in June so give us a call or e-mail. Thanks!
