Short day, Nice yellowfins
Good weather and fishing on Friday for Ed Shultze and crew. Unfortunately we had a chaffed fuel line which caused us to head in early on one motor. We got back in time to have another fuel line made and back running for Saturday. Thanks to Ed and gang for being patient and we will see you again.

May yellowfins
Today we had Jay, Steven, Ashley Mulvey and friends for a great day on the ocean. We had a good day catching 9 yellowfins with some tough luck loosing a few more. More yellowfin showing up each day with a scattered gaffer dolphin mixed in. We have plenty of days open so give us a call. Thanks!

Bluefin Action
Never would have thought we would still be catching bluefins on May 1st but here we are. Water conditions have been different this spring with colder than usual water, gulf stream not pushing in as it typically does this time of year. Saturday we had Sam Busey and gang who boated a 189lb bluefin and released 3 more in the same size class. We spent the afternoon looking for yellowfin and although some boats did find a few as well as bigeyes, we were not so fortunate. Still have plenty of days open so give us a call or e-mail. Thanks!

TUNA GRAND SLAM!!
On Saturday we had Brenton and Chuck Smith and crowd from Virgina Beach. The bluefins were still around but some bigeyes and yellowfins made a good showing as well. We had 2 bigeyes and 1 bluefin with the largeest weighing 300lbs. We also caught 3 yellowfins to fill in the cracks and give us a tuna slam(3 species of tuna in same day). As you can see we had a very large shark take the tail of the 300 pounder, did not get a good look but likely a mako or blue shark. Fishing is great right now and we have some days open next weekend so give us a call or e-mail to book your trip. Thanks!

Bluefins still Here!
We had beautiful weather and great bluefin fishing Monday for Carl Greene, Chip Herom, and Rodney Berry. The bluefins were schooled up up top, often several acres at a time, rolling and jumping. It took some work to make them bite but we had steady action all day. The fish we kept was 154lbs, and we released 5 more in the same size range. We also found some schools of 50-60lb fish and after releasing a few trolling we casted plugs on spinning rods which was great light tackle action. Chip did a great job catching the 60lb fish shown below. We have lots of days open so give us a call or e-mail to get in on some of this great action. Thanks!
