Weather has been horrible, blown out 6 days straight this week. Did make it out easter with my neighbor and good friend Carl Greene and his son Matt and crew. Good yellowfin fishing, not real big but did manage to keep 14. Thanks
The Trophy Bluefin season closing on the night of the 17th and we had Jason Loveless and crew fishing with us. Scrappier then it has been we missed one and caught a 83″ we kept for our trophy. Would of weighed around 325 lbs.
We had long time charter, tournament angler, and good buddy Jess Brindisi along with Sam Savioa on Sunday. Pretty choppy day and got right damn rough by end of day. A awesome sign of Bluefins and fishing was great. Lots of marks, birds, slicks- very fishy conditions....
Finally back out after all he weather and We had the Zito brothers join us on a pretty day. Good bluefin fishing for the fleet and our 2 guys stayed busy. We released 2 bluefins in the 300/350 Lb range, kept a 68” 190lb bluefin, a 137lb bigeye, and lost 2 more...
